BIOGRAPHY

After growing up in Massachusetts, Chris studied sculpture and drawing at Colby College in Maine, where he was introduced to metalworking.  He completed a Masters of Architecture degree at Syracuse University; his thesis design project synthesized his interests in art and architecture.  Chris moved to Seattle in 1994, where he currently resides and works as a sculptor and architect.  He is a partner at Suyama Peterson Deguchi Architects where he has collaborated on the designs of custom residences and small commercial projects since 1997.  Chris's sculpture is exhibited in the 3x10 retail shop located within Suyama Peterson Deguchi's office, and has also been exhibited in other gallery spaces in Seattle and in many private collections nationally.
