I am interested in a sense of timelessness; created by the abstraction of forms and spaces that are elemental to us.  My work attempts to transform something familiar into that which is unfamiliar; engaging our memories by revealing something abstract, restrained, and elegant from that which we have known.  Hulls, weaponry, tools, plants, and the human figure are some of the subjects referenced in my work.   The structure of my work's evolution has been a sequence of series; one series morphs into the next creating a body of work that is both interconnected and constantly evolving.
